Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Cooking Conversions app and website. By using them, you agree to these terms and to the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms.

Cooking estimates

Conversions are informational estimates. Ingredient density varies by brand, preparation, packing, humidity, and measuring technique. Check results and use appropriate food-safety and dietary guidance. Cooking Conversions is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

Pricing and Premium

The paid iOS download includes every conversion and feature. On Android, all conversions and ingredient data are free to use. A one-time, non-consumable Premium purchase unlocks History, custom accent Colors, and ingredient Favorites on Android. It is not a subscription. The price shown in the app is the Google Play-localized price and may include applicable taxes. Purchases and refunds are processed under Apple or Google's policies. On Android, use Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Google Play account to recover Premium access. The Android Premium purchase does not transfer to iOS, where those features are already included.

Existing users

Android installations that used Cooking Conversions before Premium was introduced may receive Premium access without a purchase. This local grandfathered access can be lost if the app and its data are fully removed and is not a separately transferable store purchase. Premium features are included for every iOS installation.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use the app for personal or commercial cooking activities, but you may not misuse, disrupt, resell, or attempt to circumvent its purchase controls. The app, website, design, content, and compilation of conversion data are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party store and open-source components remain subject to their own terms.

Availability and liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every conversion is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain intact.

Changes and contact
